Le Mont Ventoux

Swept by the winds violently, Mont Ventoux is the highest peak of Vaucluse (84). Wearing a white hat that gives it the illusion of eternal snow, its highest peak rises to 1912m.
From its summit, and in good weather, extends a 360 ° view of the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea, the Cevennes, the Sainte-Victoire mountain and the Alpilles. At his feet, the plain of Comtat Venaissin and the slopes of the Ventoux succeed the fields covered with lavender of Sault, before a dip in the Toulourenc valley.
